Pastor Vincent L. Winfrey, Sr. is God’s visionary for The Mount Olivet Baptist Church, located at 51 Stewart Avenue in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Pastor Winfrey accepted God’s call to the ministry in 1992 after becoming licensed and ordained; he began serving as Pastor of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in January of 1993; Pastor Winfrey was born and raised in the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. He has served as a Sunday school teacher, trustee, a deacon and currently serves as the Pastor. Pastor Winfrey led as the pastor while he was the chairman of the Deacon Board for over 2 years; while the church was without a pastor. Through his consistent obedience in God, as the pastor of Mt. Olivet for the past 24 years has made him the anointed servant called by God. During these years, Pastor Winfrey’s uncompromising and bold teaching of God’s word has changed the lives of people both at Mount Olivet and the surrounding communities. As the Senior Pastor of The Mount Olivet, he & his loving church body undertook construction of a new church edifice at 51-57 Stewart Avenue Uniontown, PA. which will be ready within a few months.

Pastor Winfrey furthered his education at the Penn State University and The Open Bible Institute, Uniontown, PA; Pastor Winfrey currently serves as Moderator of the Youghiogheny Western Baptist Association. He is a beacon light in his community. He serves with the East End Ministerial Alliance, Hunger for Him Fellowship, The PA Baptist State Convention, The PA Baptist State Congress and The National Baptist Convention, USA the Uniontown Public Library Board. Pastor Winfrey is a Former School Director for Uniontown Area School District. He made history serving as the 1st black ever elected official to the Uniontown Area School Board. The City of Uniontown declared November 4th Vincent L. Winfrey Sr. Day for his many outstanding achievements in the City.

Pastor Winfrey is the son of the late Dorothy (Patsy) & John Winfrey. He and his wife, Minister Marilyn are the proud parents of five children: Rev. Vincent Jr. & wife, Min. Natalie; Jason, Scott and wife Jill; Janelle, David & his wife Brishonna. They also are rewarding grandparents of fourteen grandchildren who bring them much joy and contentment: Aleycia (Annie), DraKKar, Dreher (Birdie), DeAundre, Ayzia, Arielle, Keyarra, Alexia (Jazzy), Raymond Jr. (Bubba), Jayla, Bristol, Brenna, Londyn & Deion. He also has three Great Grandchildren; Marley, Asher & Ariah. They also serve as Spiritual Father and Mother of the Mt Olivet Baptist Church and surrogate parents for many other children in the community. He is a God sent Man with a right NOW word on his heart.
