The Congress of Christian Education Auxiliary is the teaching arm of the Youghiogheny Western Baptist Association. It includes classes, lectures and group discussion panels targeted and relevant to every age group and every area of the Christian Church and Ministry. Our mission is to develop and interpret to the educational objectives and goals of the churches within our Association in the area of Christian education. We are committed to:
- Developing a comprehensive, coordinated, and unified Christian education program that is consistent with the President’s vision, the teaching mission and objectives of the congress and the standards and programs of the Baptist denomination
Deciding on time schedules for workshops and seminars
Enlisting and training all church educational leaders
Unifying, supervising and promoting all educational interests of the convention
Providing effective overall educational ministries to churches & leaders
Improving educational services through Christian Education and the various ministries and organizations
Seeking professional growth through leadership training
Maintaining resources through our Pennsylvania Baptist State Convention, The National Baptist Congress of Christian Education and the Sunday School Publishing Board of the NBC, USA., Inc.
Women's Home & Foreign MissionsSister Donna Payne - President
“The purpose of the Woman’s Home and Foreign Mission is to organize and improve missionary circles: senior, young adult, and youth departments in Baptist churches of the Youghiogheny Western Baptist Association ; to promote a broader spirit of missionary endeavor; to encourage the study of the Bible and other missionary books in order to awaken a greater interest in missionary work; to support missionaries on the State and Foreign Field; to support Christian education… and to cooperate with the Association.

The Clergy Ministry of the Youghiogheny Western Baptist Association is for Pastors and Ministers to Strengthen Each Other To Expand the Kingdom of God. They gather together to build one another through preaching, intercession, and discussion of relevant topics that pertain to ministry and Kingdom building. Seminars for Ministry and Leadership Developments are held to share proven approaches to church growth, community outreach, and other para-church ministries.

The Youth and Young Adult Ministry seeks to provide spiritual nourishment, inspiration and guidance to those 12 to 45. The ministry, which includes those that are single, married, widowed, divorced and with or without children, encourages proper spiritual and moral principles to empower Christians to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. They share their faith with other youth and young adults through education, prayer and fellowship; allowing them the opportunity to hear God's message for His church and to encourage a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
